LONDON GLAM PUNK TRANS ROCK
Domina Proxime: a glam-punk trans-rock duo from the UK. Their sound is a raucous fusion of rock riffs, pop melodies and punk attitude, served up by the indomitable and captivating force that is Domina Proxime herself. They write original songs and make one hell of an entertaining racket.

DOMINA
Domina wasn't so much born as... one day manifested into reality. It was rumoured her father was a theoretical physicist, and therefore didn't exist. When asked of her mother she would shiver in front of the fire muttering that there were “stories people never heard about Mary Poppins, and the children she left behind”, and about having an estranged sister called Ridicula Proxime that "she just can't deal with right now if that's okay?"
She married, but that didn't work out so she grabbed a pack of Bourbons, a Walkman and a tape of Sex Pistols 'Never Mind the Bollocks' and hiked in seven inch heels (whilst reading Leonard Cohen's collection of poems 'Stranger Music') to a petrol station on the A413 near Chalfont St Peter. Didn't fall over once. Honest.

VINCENT

Vincent Aloysius Morbier was the benevolent dictator of a small city state somewhere around the contested French/German area of Alsace famous for making extra strength sweet desert wines. As well as recording obscure regional folk songs at Morbier Studios, he had some success selling oversized balalaika with a TR-808 drum machine implanted just below the sound hole. Which thrilled people, but it didn't really catch on.
With all his experience of 'sound things and instruments' he put a couple of coat hangers near each other and they made a weird noise. He recorded it of course. It sounded awful. But finally he realised the hangers were trying to send him somewhere. He packed a backpack with of Kraut Rock LP's (original vinyl) and a Michelin guide to Best Shit Holes To Avoid (along with the last few bottles of sickly sweet wine) and started walking. The coat hangers divined him (like some clever spiritual tech), to a spot just off the A413. Not far from Chalfont St Peter.
PICTURES OF PEOPLE, SHOES, BOOKS AND BARBIES
Barbie was playing with Domina well before the movie made her popular. Would Domina ever sell-out like that? Hell yeah. A whiff of the greens and she'll bite your arm off.
